Ivan Jovanović has been dancing for more than 30 years (since 1992). He was competing as ballroom dancer, until he fell in love with the concept of social dances, around 2006, mainly because of the Cuban salsa and Argentine tango. He is the founder of “Buena Vista” dance school, which is recognized as the leader in Montenegro when it comes to Cuban salsa, Argentine tango, Afro-Cuban dances, bachata and kizomba. Ivana Jovanović Ivana fell in love with salsa in 2008. in one of Ivan’s classes and was showing great promise as a dancer from the very beginning. The two of them also fell in love with each other, and now they are happily married with two beautiful daughters. They used every opportunity they had to learn from some of the best Cuban dancers and teachers in the world, such as Yanek Revilla, Diana Rodriguez, Alberto Valdes, “Los aspirinas” family, Yoannis Tamayo, Yoandy Villaurrutia, Tereza Castaneda, Sergio Larrinaga, Alexander Carbo, Yunaisy Farray, Jorge Camaguey, FredyClan, Juan Ortiz, Yanet Fuentes, Yeni Molinet, Maykel Fonts, Yuliet Estrada Linares etc. For almost 15 years they were part of the artists line-ups during many festivals/seminars in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Hungary, Macedonia, Croatia, Austria and Albania where they enjoyed the experience of sharing and passing on their knowledge of and passion for dance.”
